Water Law & Policy Conference

The Water Law & Policy Conference, a collaboration with the Arizona Journal of Environmental Law & Policy at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, will bring together attorneys, public policy makers, and scientists to review the major water law challenges facing Arizona. Presentations by experts in the field will include topics such as Tribal water rights, recycled water for potable uses, and the water/energy nexus. It will take place on Friday, December 1st in Tucson.

The proceedings will be published in the Arizona Journal of Environmental Law & Policy in Spring of 2018.

Schedule Overview

  • Friday, Dec. 1st: all-day summit at the University of Arizona College of Law, 8:30 A.M.-4:00 P.M. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The conference will be followed by a happy hour for attendees.

  • CLE: This event may qualify for up to 5 hours of CLE credit.

  • A registration fee of $90 will be collected at the registration the morning of the event. Cash, check, and card are all accepted.

  • This event is free for students, employees of the University of Arizona, and government employees.

  • Anyone interested in water law & policy issues is welcome to attend!
